Art Makes a Difference: The Sixth Annual MOMart show is just around the corner. You don't want to miss out on what promises to be the best MOMart yet! This year's event will be held May 2, May 3, and May 4, 2008, at the Carolina Outreach Foundation, 2670 Durham Chapel Hill Boulevard, Durham (the former Elk's Lodge, next to Foster's). Featuring the works of returning favorites such as Kristen Compton, Christy Mullen, Linda Carmel, B. J. Fusaro, Katya Prince, Ebeth Scott-Sinclair, Mary Mendell, Andria Linn, Galia Goodman, Dianne Freund, Freeman Beard, Bonnie Wright, and Wendy Kowalski as well as show newcomers like Jacob Cooley, Eduardo Lapetina, Noah Rosenblatt-Farrell, David Sovero, Wayne Henderson, Jeanette Stokes, Bryan Carey, along with many others. And of course, the fantastic Just a Few Friends artists--Katherine Bliss, Nicole Rider, and Liz Mahanna--will be selling their jewelry, mosaics, and papier mache at this year's event.
