About JAFF

Who knew that a piece of plastic could lead to a passion for art, crafts, community service, and camaraderie? But it did. In 1993, a few of us played together on a local women's Ultimate Frisbee team named Grits. We had wild ambitions to be National Champs and extraordinary athletes. We never got the championship, but we became the best of friends. JAFF has grown to include fourteen members who foster their friendship through support of the arts and community outreach at our annual pre-Mother’s Day event, Art Makes a Difference: The Annual MOMart Show. We have raised more than $50,000 for local charities and more than $65,000 for local artists who sell their work at our two-day event.
